Potatoes

The decision to grow these tubers was spurred by the need for excellent potatoes to be used by the company Bocon srl for its range of fresh and frozen gnocchi. The farm’s land is rich in iron, which is ideal for this cultivation. We produce a variety called Agria: a yellow flesh potato with an irregular peel, that contains less water than other varieties, but is richer in starch and other nutrients (‘dry matter’ in technical jargon). The harvest period is between July and August.
